Moroccan theme party

Party Mums had a fabulous time working on the party design for this party. Bursting with colour and full of gorgeous features that would easily work for an adult party too, we are so excited to be able to share our photos with you.The brief was to create an evening party for a 10th birthday, the guest list was small, only 8 guests in total, but the idea was big. The birthday girl wanted a grown up theme and if possible an outdoor party, which living in the UK is a challenge in itself. She didn't want it to be formal, just more of a chilled out affair, with a few games for fun too. After coming up with various ideas, we knew we had it right when the Party Mums Moroccan party theme started to come together. A large marquee with informal seating inside, which included floor cushions and a table at low level, this gave the feeling of being an intimate affair with a relaxed atmosphere. Bright colours for the tableware and a mix of different fabrics, plus a lantern centrepiece completed the look. Gold fringed curtains covered the doorway and a red roped barrier prevented access to the marquee, with a VIP entrance sign on display. This was a select party, strictly for invited guests with a VIP badge. What could be more exciting than that to a group of 10 year olds?
