The cutest of themes chosen by the birthday girl herself. This Adopt a pet party was a super fun party and one, as a bespoke children’s party planner, we really enjoyed getting our teeth into and designing. Using pastel colours throughout, Party Mums created lots of tissue tassel garlands to give this party a really soft girly feel. TY teddies were used as the pets and heart shaped tags, corresponding with each guests name, were attached to each teddy, then hidden for guests to find at the start of the party.
Party Mums designed birth certificates for the guests to complete once their pets were found and stations with weighing scales and tape measures were set up to allow the guests to fill in all the credentials about their pet. Further activities included supplies of stickers and colouring pens to allow each guest to customise their Party Mums designed pet carriers and a mini pet store set up, where guests could choose supplies for their pets including blankets, toys and a leash. So many elements of this party design were hand made and created just for this party.
Traditional party food included sandwiches and cakes, with ice cream and jelly for dessert. Party games and free time allocated after the party food ensured the girls had time to play with their new pets and the best news, was that the pets were theirs to take home. Party Mums supplied mini party bags with the tag "Thank you for coming to my paw-ty" which contained mini animal squishes and sweets inside. A visit to the donut board and the mini candy bar were a must before saying good bye.
We think this was the puuurrfect party for any animal lover.
